U-Bild has been creating America's favorite woodworking plans since 1948, helping even beginning do-it-yourselfers to get professional results. Now we've applied the same "easy for everyone" philosophy to our new "Everything but the Wood" play structure kits.

Designed for builders with only basic carpentry skills, this play structure kit includes "Everything but the Wood". Utilizing all 4 x 4 and 4 x 6 lumber, the project requires no additional bracing or ground anchors. Hot-dipped galvanized carriage bolts and screws (which won't rust or work their way loose over time) are used throughout the project.

Step-by-step instructions, featuring a 3-D diagram for each step, make it easy to put the project together. A comprehensive materials lists specifies the exact sizes and quantities of standard lumber required, and a cutting list spells out exactly where to measure, mark and cut your wood. In addition, a tool list tells you exactly what tools you need to complete the project.

The project requires an overall area of 17 feet by 16 feet and stands about 11 feet tall. The playhouse deck is 5 feet above ground level.
